Happy Birthday Christa!  Denise Kalfayan—Office Manager
My opportunity to join Dr. Cerveny’s staff was back in 1992. I came from previous dental experience as a front office assistant and over the years learned more about running the office and became the office manager, who oversees all aspects of the front office. I am very knowledgeable in scheduling appointments, billing your insurance and making financial arrangements. Working for Dr. Cerveny is a pleasure and it is a joy to see our patients leave with a smile! I am married 25+ years and have 3 wonderful children. Outside of the office I enjoy Pilates, Cooking, Traveling, and drinking fine wines!  Rachel Nye—Front Office
I graduated from Concorde Career College of North Hollywood in 2006. I went on to take the California State Board Exam and obtained my Registered Dental Assisting license. I worked for Dr.Cerveny in the back office from 2011 to 2013. It’s always refreshing to find a dentist that is caring and compassionate towards their patients, having their best interests at heart. I have been in and out of the dental field raising our three boys who I have with my husband of almost 20 years. They are now 19,15, and 8 years old. I was looking for a new office and saw an ad for Dr.Cerveny. I called her up right away. Due to an injury, I no longer work in the back but am grateful for the experience. I enjoy providing patients service to help make the whole process of their visit a pleasant one. In my spare time I enjoy reading, going for a jog or hike, and sewing.  Christa Jackson—RDH
When I first received my degree in dental hygiene from West Los Angeles College, I was looking for a dental office that shared my philosophy of patient care. I wanted to work with a dentist who provided an environment for hygienists to personalize care for each patient. Dr. Cerveny understands the value of achieving healthy gums for her patient’s overall health and wellbeing. Her practice is designed to provide such treatment in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere—which is why I have worked for her for over 25 years.  Kelly Chavez—RDH
Kelly 2 is the newest member of our team. She graduated from the West LA Dental Hygiene Program and has been in hygiene for several years. She lives in Sherman Oaks with her 13year old son. Kelly likes hanging out with friends and going camping.  Melissa Hall—R.D.H, R.D.H.P.
Melissa has been practicing dental hygiene for 24 years and has her RDHP license. Melissa also was a teaching assistant at UCLA Dental School. As an RDHP, she has been able to start her own mobile practice for facilities with the elderly and disabled. Melissa now has decided to enter Law School but still continues to work for Dr. Cerveny whom she has been with for 18 years. She is married and has 3 daughters, with a set of identical twins who recently started at USC.  Kelly Lewis—RDA
Dentistry had been a passion of mine since 1985. I enjoy every aspect of dentistry and just got Orthodontic Certified in July 2023. I enjoy learning all the new techniques this field has to offer. I’ve been with Dr. Cerveny since 2014 off and on and on Saturdays. I am back full time. On the weekends I enjoy spending time with my family |
