Financial and Office Policies

Your Care, Your Convenience

At Encino Cosmetic Dentistry, we aim to provide exceptional care while making your experience as seamless as possible. Below, you’ll find our financial and office policies to help you prepare for your visit.

Patient Appointments

Patients are seen by appointment only. We make every effort to be on time for our patients, and we ask the same courtesy from your family. If you cannot keep an appointment, please notify us immediately, giving a minimum of 48 hours' notice to avoid any missed appointment fees. We realize that unexpected illnesses and emergencies may occur, but we ask for your assistance in this regard.

Our office strives to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available.

Insurance & Patient Co-Payments

If you have insurance, we will help you determine the coverage you have available. To best assist you:

  • Submit your dental and/or medical insurance information with your New Patient Paperwork at least two business days before your scheduled appointment.
  • Bring a dental benefit book provided by your insurance carrier.
  • If treatment services are diagnosed, we will provide you with a detailed plan, including:
  • An estimate of your insurance company’s contribution.
  • The portion you will be expected to pay at the time of service.

Please Note:

  • Professional care is provided to you, not your insurance company.
  • Insurance companies are responsible only to the patient based on the plan purchased.
  • Patients are responsible for payment to the doctor.

We will assist in filing your dental or medical claims and handle insurance questions from our office on your behalf.

Financial Policy

In an effort to reduce the cost to you while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established the following financial policies:

  • Payment of any account balance is due in full within 20 days of the statement date.
  • We gladly accept Visa, Discover, American Express, or MasterCard payments.
  • Payment plans are available through CareCredit.

Appointments & Consultations

We are happy to schedule a second-opinion consultation to discuss treatment options diagnosed for you.

  • Patients referred from another practice or seeking a second opinion must undergo a complete examination before our doctors can provide their opinion.
  • Transfer any x-rays and chart notes from your prior office to us 7–14 business days prior to your appointment.
  • Provide all dental and medical insurance information related to trauma or a medically diagnosed disorder in a timely manner.

After your consultation, we will provide a comprehensive treatment estimate.
